March 2023
In 2018, Capture H2O and Gatorade entered a partnership to implement the High Cycle program for Gatorade's cooling towers at their Dallas F&B Plant. The program utilizes RO Concentrate (waste water) to displace the potable water used in the open loop of the cooling system. The program saved Gatorade 28 million gallons of water, equivalent to $277,000, in 2022.

Cordia Energy was relying on traditional chemical water treatment methods for their cooling towers, and was experiencing poor scale control while using dangerous chemicals such as sulfuric acid. Capture H2O installed the High Cycle program at Energy Center San Diego in 2012 and has helped save 26 million gallons of water from 2017-2021 and eliminated scaling and the use of sulfuric acid.
